Do you have one hour a week to spend with a child? That's all that is needed for this wonderful and rewarding opportunity!
A lunch buddy is an adult volunteer who spends one lunch hour a week with a child that needs positive recognition and /or individual attention. Having this one-on-one time can be very special for a child and can help boost their self-esteem allowing them to achieve more at school academically and socially. There is a need here at Allen Creek and we are looking for people who want to help make a difference in a child's life!!
